MAGGIE DOSWELL

Maggie Doswell is a Canadian visual artist working in Toronto. Her works are held in local and international collections. She combines solid technical skills in art-making with
 strong conceptual formations in her work. This relates to her academic training and her innate visual interests.

 

Due to her devotion to mentorship of newly emerging artists, Maggie is also a well-respected art teacher and community leader in art groups. She is Past Chief Business Officer of the International Encaustic Artists (IEA), Past President of the North York Visual Artists; Past Treasurer of the North Toronto Group of Artists; & Co-Founder of the Karma Creative Art Studio.

 

In November 2016 she became Director and Owner of Karma Creative Art Studio, after retirement of her Co-Founding partner Karen Chisvin.
